Pull plate completely off the mounting surface.

Thoroughly clean mounting surface with dry-cleaning
solvent (item 4, app D). Surface must be free of all
contamination such as oil, grease, dirt, or any foreign
matter.
INSTALLATION
Activate the back of the plate with dry-cleaning solvent
(item 4, app D).
Mount the plate and apply pressure to the plate surface.
Spray or brush plate with aliphatic polyurethane coating
(item 2, app D).
NOTE
Identification and instruction plates are
made of aluminum foil with a solvent-
activated backing.
