Repair by cleaning all dirt, rocks, or trash from the foot valve.
Foot Valve/

Remove corrosion using abrasive cloth and treat with epoxy primer and
polyurethane coating (see TM 43-0139).
Repair by replacing authorized components.

Assemble square neck bolt (1), upper suction valve weight (2), valve

Turn foot valve assembly upside down to check that valve flaps open and
