4-14. Coupling Gasket.

Silicone Compound (Item 6, Appendix E)
Replace. (figure 4-5)
WARNING
Do not smoke or use open flame in vicinity of filter/separator. Use protective equipment to
prevent skin and eye contact with fuel.
(1) Remove two nuts (1), washers (2), and bolts (3) and remove coupling (4).
(2) Remove cover (5) and coupling gasket (6).
(3) Apply silicone compound to new coupling gasket (6).
(4) Install coupling gasket (6) onto cover (5).
(5) Install cover (5) with coupling gasket (6).
(6) Install coupling (4) and secure with two screws (3), washers (2), and nuts (1).
