Working from the top, remove nut (51) and

electrical lead (52) from stud, and reinstall

nut (51) on stud fingertight.
Remove machine screw (53) and lock

washer (54) holding electrical lead (55).
Lock washer (54)
Remove electrical lead (55) from tank unit and
Electrical lead (55)
leave it loose. Reinstall machine screw (53)
and lock washer (54) and tighten machine
screw (53).
Lift off two fuel tank straps (56) and
Fuel tank straps (56)
gaskets (57) as a unit. Lift fuel tank (42) out of
Gasket (57)
pump unit.
If damaged, remove rubber strip (58).

Remove three thread-cutting tapping
Thread-cutting tapping
screws (59) and flat washers (60) from the
screws (59)
attaching chains on the dust covers (61)
Flat washers (60)
located on the connector panel. Leave dust
Dust rovers (61)
covers (61) installed.
