Inspect nozzle holder and ignition plug. Disassemble nozzle

and clean screen on nozzle with dry cleaning solvent (item
14, app D). Check that the gap between the ignition plug
electrode and the combustor-plate electrode is 5/32-inch.
CAUTION
Do not bend ignition plug electrode.
Adjust as needed by bending the combustor plate elec-
trode. Replace plug if unserviceable. Replace burner nozzle
if damaged.
Inspect the condition of the spark arrester in the exhaust

stack for possible damage to the screen. If screen is torn or
has puncture holes, replace spark arrester.
